Jo (Mrs. de Carteret) is a Fellow of the Victorian Artists' Society and has coordinated art at Canterbury Girls' Secondary College for the past twenty years and has now decided to follow her passion and give greater attention to her own painting.
Jo has a distinguished list of awards and exhibitions to her credit.
Recently her impression of Heritage Hill Gardens received The Dandenong Prize for best work completed in a day. Major awards also include The Melbourne City Council Lord Mayors’ Prize and The Mountbatten Award.
Jo's numerous Highly Commended Awards include: Kew, Brighton, Cranbourne, Ringwood, Clayton, Corio, Bacchus Marsh and Altona Rotary, St.Kevin’s, Burke Hall and John Paul Colleges’ Art Shows, Strathdon Community Art Show as well as several commendations at the Victorian Artist’ Society exhibitions.
